A Sikh hangs self, another found dead Driver,Conductor from Punjab sustain grievous injurious in road accident

Srinagar, May 30, KNT: Dead bodies of two persons belonging to Sikh faith were found in two different parts of Kashmir Valley on Saturday.

During morning hours, locals found Sikh hanging from a tree in Mir Bazar area that falls under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam. They informed the police that took possession of the body.

A police official told news agency KNT that the slain was a 36 year old truck driver and hails from Jammu. He identified the deceased as Ravinder Singh of Gigersimbli Paryal area of Jammu. A case has been registered in this regard.

Police also recovered a dead body of another Sikh near FCI Store in Gurubazar area of Srinagar city. The slain who was a truck conductor has been identified as 60 year old Tarseem Lal son of Sajoo Raam of Unchi Basti Dasoowa area of Punjab.
He was the Conductor of a truck bearing registration number (PB07Z-8779). A police official from Police Station Shaheed Gunj said that a case has been registered and investigation set into motion.

Meanwhile, two non-locals including a truck driver and Conductor suffered grievous injuries after their truck (PB04R-9747) loaded with chickens met with an accident on Highway near Hygam Tarzoo area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The injured who have been identified as Driver Surinder Kumar and Conductor Arvind Kumar both residents of Punjab were shifted to Sopore hospital for treatment. (KNT)
