Srinagar, Apr 6, KNT: One of the Valley’s reputed Educational Institute Kashmir Institute of Excellence (KIE) has clarified that the Instagram account of which Srinagar Mayor has taken note of and probably filed an FIR is a fake account which has nothing to do with the them.
“We haven’t violated any rule but simply had inscribed the name of our institution on the front wall.They (SMC Mayor) had told us to remove it and we did, that’s it…..Now we don’t know anything about it, besides what the honorable Mayor has tweeted is shocking…..the instagram account he has taken note of is fake that doesn’t belong to us,” spokesperson of KIE told news agency KNT.
Mayor Srinagar, Junaid Azim Matoo in a tweet had said that he has asked registration of an FIR against the management of “Kashmir Institutue of Excellence” Parray Pora, Srinagar under relevant sections of IPC.
The KIE spokesman added that they have not violated any rule and have not received any notice. (KNT)
