Driver dies after tractor turns turtle in Central Kashmir’s Budgam, boy injured

Budgam, May 5, KNT: A tractor driver died on spot in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday after his tractor turned turtle.

A boy was also injured in the accident.

The incident occurred at Daranpora Shunglipora area of the Khag Sub-Divison.

Police sources told KNT that driver lost control over tractor while it was surmounting a slope and turned turtle. The driver came beneath the tractor and died on spot.

Police sources identified the victim as Zahoor Ahmad Darm a resident of Peth Makhama area of Khag.

In the accident an 11-year-old boy identified as Muhammad Asif Malik sustained injuries. He was shifted to Primary Health Centre Khag where his condition is stated to be stable. (KNT)
