Kupwara, Feb 20, KNT: The sweeper of a private school sustained injuries in a mysterious explosion in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The explosion occurred in the school building of ‘Hill View Public School’ located at Haril village of Kupwara.
Sources told news agency KNT that while sweeping the School building, 32 year old Sweeper namely Reyaz Ahmad Ahanger of Haril village suddenly got injured due to explosion in the building.
He was immediately shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment where from he was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar.
Police sources said that investigation has been started to ascertain the cause of the blast. They added that prima facie it seems an unexploded shell has exploded after being touched by the victim. (KNT)
