Srinagar, Oct 28 ,KNT : The BJP Govt ‘s giving blanket permission for any citizen to buy land in J&K State is beyond the competence of the authority issuing such orders. Since abrogation of Article 370 and breakup of the State in to two UT’s is under the consideration of the Supreme Court, any and all such actions taken since 5th August 2019 are unconstitutional and illegal and lack any moral and legal sanctity not applicable and binding upon the people of the State. This was stated by ANC President Begum Khalida Shah in a press statement issued today after chairing an emergency meeting of the ANC core committee called to chalk out the party’s plan of action against the highest degree of disobedience and disrespect shown to the constitution of India.

The ANC President further stated that this was contemptuous act and will be dealt both legally and at all political levels. The people of all three regions of the J&K state unanimously reject and condemn this undemocratic behavior of the Narinder Modi BJP Govt and view it as one more blunder of the Kashmir policy committed by the Govt of India run by BJP and RSS combined as a direct provocation to the people of the State.

Begum Khalida Shah further stated that the ANC stands solidly behind the Peoples Agenda of Gupkar Deceleration (PAGD) with full sprit and ensure that this people’s alliance representing all three regions of the State will not only fight for the restoration of our special status but also for the dignity, respect, freedom of speech and moment for every citizen of the State as enshrined in the constitution.

The ANC Sr.VP Mr.Muzaffar Shah while briefing the party core committee on the latest developments and the progress made in the PAGD with respect to expanding its reach throughout the three regions of the State and the schedule of holding the PAGD meeting on 7th November at Jammu followed by the all parties working committee convention on 17th November at Srinagar.

The ANC  Sr. Vice President called upon all sections of the society to come on a single platform selflessly to fight all the injustices and strengthen the PAGD .The repeal of Land to the Tiller act is an insult to every citizen of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh and impressed upon supreme court to take Suo moto notice of the gross violation of the constitution undertaken in Jammu and Kashmir brazenly adopted by the BJP Govt at the Centre. It is a serious assault on the judiciary itself which cannot be allowed in a democratic and federal structure of this Country.
