Srinagar: MGNREGA supporting staff has welcomed the decision of the government wherein it has constituted a departmental committee to examine the issues related to the staff working under MGNREGA.
Khan Aijaz and other members of the Association welcomed the move taken by the department in favour of highly qualified youth who are working in the department since very long period. These members also requested the higher ups of RDD and UT administration to look into the matter seriously on humanitarian grounds and do justice with them.
Pertinently, Government has accorded sanction to constitute a departmental committee of four officers to examine long pending Human Resource Development and other related issues pertaining to the supporting staff (contractual) engaged under MGNREGA.
The committee shall submit its report within a period of 15 days. (KNT)
