Pulwama, May 4, KNT: Forest Protection Force captured three horses laden with illicit timber in Roomshi Forest Range of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that during the intervening night of 3 and 4 May, Forest Protection Party from Unit Headquarter Shirmal and Gulabteng laid a naka at three different places after receiving information about the movement of jungle smugglers.
During the operation three horses laden with 35 illicit Fir timber measuring to the tune of 64.36 Cft were seized at Kralacheck Shadimarg road, in Roomshi Range.
The horses and the timber were seized and a case was registered under relevant sections of Forest Act in this regard. (KNT)
