Charar-e-Sharif, Jan 6, KNT: Amid massive snowfall and snow accumulation, a woman writhing with labour pain was shifted to hospital in a JCB here in Central Kashmir’s
Charar-e-Sharif town of Budgam district.

Sources told News Agency KNT that a pregnant lady identified as Posha Bano wife of Muzafar Ahmed Bhat developed labour pain at her Futlipora house in Charar-e-Sharif town.

As family members found it difficult to shift her to hospital, they called police for the help. Station House Officer Police Station Charar-e-Sharif Inspector Yasir arranged a JCB for the pregnant lady and helped the family to get her shifted to Sub-District Hospital
Charar-e-Sharif.

Pertinently, due to massive accumulation of snow vehicles were unable to ply on the roads. “We are thankful for the timely help from the police officer,” the family members said.

The incident occurred yesterday on Tuesday when it was snowing continuously.
