IDPS organises 2-day Seerat Conférence  Announces 25% scholarship for first 3 rank holders

Srinagar, Oct 27: International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Zakura organised a 2-day Seerat Conference in which a large number of the students and teachers from over 27 schools participated.
During the Conference, the students participated in the categories Naath, Tilawat, Azaan, Seerat Speech which mesmerised the audience.
Mufti Azam Jammu & Kashmir, Nasir ul Islam was the chief guest on the occasion.
Chairman Civil Society Khwaja Farooq Renzu Shah, District Srinagar Sports Officer Muzaffar Tramboo, Sports Officer Sheikh Mohammad Shafi, Hamida Sheikh and Firdous Ahad of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chairman IDPS Showkat M Chowdhary, Principal IDPS Kamal Zamani were among the special invitees.Some of the notable schools DPS, Burn Hall, Green Valley, Kashmir Hawrad, DPS Athwajan International Islamic School, New Vest Public School, RP Malagabh, RP Nagbal, Crescent Public School participated in the event.
During the competition, the students recited the verses from the Holy Quran very melodiously and the speakers threw light on teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Many students mesmerised the audience by reciting beautiful Naats in the praise of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Speaking on the occasion, Grand Mufti Nasir ul Islam hailed the IDPS for organising the competition and urged its to hold more such programmes in near future. He also appreciated the participating students’ mesmerising voices.
He reiterated that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were a guide for the whole humanity towards righteousness and universal brotherhood and urged the students to follow the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).Speaking on the occasion, Khwaja Farooq Renzu Shah said our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was the best teacher of mankind who always teaches us to respect humanity, love, affection and care.
On the occasion, Chairman IDPS Showkat M Chowdhary announced a 25% scholarship for its students who grabbed the first three positions. He said IDPS would organise more competitions in the future and promote the students at bigger platforms to showcase their talent.

Results
In the U12 Tilwawat Competition, Masooma Zainab, Anusha Muzaffar and Anam Muzaffar from IDPS bagged first three positions respectively. In the U17 Tilawat Competition, Zuhair Ahtar of Alnoor Public School, Talha Bint Hayat of Islamic Global, Irtiza Gul of Gulistan-e-Atfal claimed first three positions respectively. In Seerat Speech Competition, Anam of Al Noor Public School, Shabeeb ul Hassan of Burn Hall bagged first two positions while Aniya Muzaffar and Sehrish Altaf of IDPS claimed joint third place. In the Azaan Competition, Saliq Farooq and Musadiq Manzoor of Sagul Event claimed top positions. In Naat U12 competitions, Tauqeer of Gulistan-e-Atfaal, Haya Tahmeen of IDPS, Afreen of Gulistan-e-Atfal bagged first three positions. In Naat U17 Competitions, Muneeb Miraj of SSM School, Nasreen of Ahagul Event, Haad Muhammad Naqeeb of Government Boys Hr Sec School claimed first three positions. Islamic Experts and Scholars including Dr. Maulana Fayaz Ahmad, Qari Danish and Maulana Shahaan Shafi were judges during the events.
