Srinagar, July 16, KNT: An elderly man who was hit by a biker succumbed to his injuries this morning.
On Sunday, an unknown speed bike hit an elderly man from Ganderpora Safakadal area of Srinagar. The man identified as 80 year old Ghulam Muhammad Lone sustained head injuries and was shifted to SMHShospital.
Today he succumbed to his injuries.
The man who was a respectable figure in his locality was a Mouzzin and is survived by his ailing wife, three sons and three daughters.
Locals demanded arrest of bike rider. They said the elderly man became victim of rash driving.
A police official told KNT that a case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the accused bike rider. (KNT)
